Philippe Doubre

Chairman

Mr. Doubre held the position of President and Secretary General of the World Trade Centre (WTCA) Geneva from 1979 to 2015. Philippe has also been President of the China Hub in Geneva and a permanent representative of the WTCA organizations to the UN in Geneva. He is currently President of the OISTE Foundation. Early in his professional career, Mr. Doubre held several senior positions in the banking and finance industry including Vice President and General Cashier of American Express Paris, General Manager Overseas Development. He has also been Vice President of the Board and Chairman of the Audit & Finance Committee of WISeKey.

Philippe Doubre has extensive experience in policy making aimed at facilitating international trade.

Began career as a United Nations expert on information technology (IT), e-security and trust models; 1983-98, worked for the International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), International Trade Centre/World Trade Organization (ITC/WTO), World Bank, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
