Table-ronde – réunion annuelle du WEF, Davos, 21 janvier 2015
La table ronde a été modérée par Carlos Moreira, PDG WISeKey, et a compté avec la participation de Radu-Popescu Zeletin (Fraunhofer Fokus) ; Thomas Andersson directeur de l’IKED et coordonnateur du consortium GINI ; David Fergusson, PDG de The M&A Advisor; Jean-Manuel ROZAN, PDG de Qwant et a eu le privilège de recevoir Fadi Chehadé, Président de l’ICANN comme commentateur.

La table ronde s’est fixée comme objectif susciter une discussion sur la nécessité de développer des nouveaux modèles d’affaires sur l’identité digitale, où les besoins de l’utilisateur, et non pas l’information personnelle de l’utilisateur, seront mis au centre, sous le control de l’internaute (et non des fournisseurs de services).
OISTE a joué un rôle clé dans le lancement de l’initiative appelée « Diktyo » et est à l’origine du site web www.diktyo.ch, qui se trouve dans une étape de développement.
DIKTYO est le mot grec pour réseau. L’initiative Diktyo a pour but de favoriser un cadre cohérent de gestion de l’identité digitale, respectueux de droits humains.
« Diktyo » est aussi le titre qui a été donné à une déclaration publique présentée par un certain nombre d’institutions et personnalités lors de la réunion du Forum Economique Mondial de 2015 à Davos sous le parrainage de WISeKey. Cette déclaration se veut un moyen de rassemblement, un mouvement vers un consensus sur l’identité digitale dans un monde numérique respectueux de la sphère privé et la propriété des données personnelles par l’individu générateur d’information.
L’initiative Diktyo est proposée comme un pas dans cette direction. Voici la présentation de cette idée en anglais :
« The Davos follow-up process entails the development of a consolidated portfolio of project work. Some of these activities are research-oriented while others are devoted to innovation, solutions-deployment and implementation. Forming a coherent set of activities, however, they complement each other in underpinning a systematic advance of the DIKTYO agenda, i.e. taking us forward towards a coherent system for trusted identities in the digital world.
The founding bodies behind the DIKTYO are taking the lead in shaping the project portfolio but the discussion is ongoing with other organisations how to advance. There is the opportunity for other players to join and those interested are encouraged to contact the secretariat for more detail.

The following represent key strands of work:
- Analysis of the Identity Ecosystem including the specification of present gaps and distortions
- Specification of the required architecture as well as other functional and non-functional building blocks for a coherent eco-system for identity management
- Specification of mechanisms and incentives for the development of operational business models across the main domains of the system
- Strengths, weaknesses and inter-linkages in the way that our multi-jurisdictional world economy influences the advance of a coherent system for trusted identities
- Pilot activities, presently in preparation for two particular areas: Financial services, including on principles and mechanisms for risk management, insurance and the distribution of liabilities capable of spurring financial sector engagement to promote a combined enhancement of interoperability in identity management along with greater usability and security; The smart city, with the advance of a framework promoting interoperability and scalability in handling seamless authentication and authorisation processes underpinning continuous information exchanges and user engagement in new services development, involving intelligent and adaptive utilities, logistics systems, smart buildings, health and wellness promotion, and so forth.
